Labview 2012 from National instrument is a graphical programming tool used by researchers, scientists and engineers around the globe. It is a graphical system design tool that can be used for example to design pulse code modulation system, digital modulation, encoders decoders, multiplexers with the use of VI modules. There are library of VI modules for example for flip flops, multiplexers, registers, FPGA devices, micro-controllers. It can also be used for programming embedded system and FPGA then the designed system can be implemented in Xilinx ISE design suite. The designed system can be converted into program and exported to other EDA. It ease the presentation and processing of data.
Labview download student can be to generate and save realistic waveform data obtained from simulating the circuit schematics created from Multisim. Once the output data is collected the circuit schematics to PCB layout is performed, that is the schematics from the Multisim is transferred to Ultiboard PCB prototyping software. After the PCB is produced from the Gerber PCB file the physical PCB board with components on them can be again tested with the Labview to compare the results.
