Diptrace PCB circuit board prototyping tool has schematic editors, pcb layout editors, simulation and analysis tools, error checking capabilities like ERC, DRC, manual and auto routing capabilities, generates bill of materials(BoM) reports, Gerber PCB files, NC drill files, DFX files and others.
It has also easy to use interface, with library of components of different electronics manufacturers such as National Semicoductor, Analog Device, Philips etc. The part search is very easy to use and is at the top horizontal bar with names of the manufacturing companies. If there is no part available then the part can be created and imported into the Diptrace software.
Some of the difference between the Orcad capture PCB circuit board prototyping software and Diptrace are like the zoom in and out capability which is found in Diptrace but not in Orcad capture. Another difference is that when any wire is hovered with the mouse the wire becomes highlighted showing the wire connection to different part in the design. This is useful in a large project circuit board.Diptrace PCB manufacturing software is easy to start and learn.
