AM(DSB-SC) generation using Ring Modulator: Orcad Capture Video Tutorial

This Orcad Capture video tutorial shows AM signal generation using Ring Modulator. The diode used for the Ring Modulator is D1N4148 diode. The input signal or the message signal of frequency 1KHz, amplitude of 1V is fed into the Ring Modulator also called the Double Balanced Modulator through the primary winding of the center tapped transformer and the carrier signal of frequency 10KHz, amplitude of 3V is fed into the center of the secondary winding. The second transformer is used to get the DSB-SC output. This schematics can further be processed for circuit board design.
